Katie and James’ wedding at Pendrell Hall felt like stepping straight into a winter wonderland.
Set in Staffordshire, the whole day had that perfect festive atmosphere - snow on the ground, Christmas trees twinkling inside, and just the right amount of seasonal sparkle. It’s one of those settings that instantly feels warm and magical, no matter how cold it is outside.
From the moment I arrived, there was this real sense of excitement. Winter weddings always have a slightly different energy; cosier, more intimate, and this one was full of it.
We made the most of the snow for portraits, keeping things relaxed and natural as always. No overthinking it, just the two of them, wrapped up in the moment (and a bit of cold), which always makes for the best images. The contrast of the soft snow with the warm light from inside Pendrell Hall worked perfectly.
Inside, it was a proper celebration atmosphere from start to finish.
