James & Dean // Foxhill Manor in the Cotswolds
James and Dean’s wedding at Foxhill Manor was the perfect mix of elegance, personality, and utter joy. Set in the heart of The Cotswolds, it was a day that felt both refined and completely relaxed.
They brought full black-tie glamour to the countryside setting - sharp suits, timeless styling, and a stunning backdrop filled with soft white florals. And then there was Winston, their Dachshund, making appearances throughout the day and quietly stealing the show.
It’s days like this that really suit the way I like to work. I’m not there to overly direct or stage things - I prefer to blend in, keep things relaxed, and let moments unfold naturally. The best parts of this wedding weren’t posed, they were the in-between moments.
When it came to portraits, we kept things simple. No pressure, no complicated posing, just the two of them together, chatting, moving, and enjoying a bit of space away from it all. That’s always when people relax the most, and it shows in the photos.
I’m always looking for those small, genuine details too - the way someone holds a hand, a quick smile across the room, or a quiet moment before everything begins. Those are the images that tend to mean the most over time.
As the day moved into the evening, Foxhill Manor really came alive. Great atmosphere, a packed dancefloor, and that balance of style and personality that made the whole day feel completely their own.
A seriously stylish Cotswolds wedding, and a brilliant one to be part of.
