Katie and Simon’s wedding at Dewsall Court just flowed effortlessly from start to finish, it was relaxed, emotional, and loads of fun!
Set in the countryside just outside Hereford, Dewsall Court has that perfect mix of elegance and warmth. It’s a venue that gives you space to breathe, which always helps create a really natural feel to the day.
We covered both photography and film for this one, which meant I could tell the full story, capturing not just how everything looked, but how it felt. From the quieter moments in the morning through to the energy of the evening, it’s all about letting things unfold and being ready for what happens in between.
There were so many of those moments throughout the day; little glances, laughter during the drinks reception, and that calm just after the ceremony when everything starts to sink in. Those are always the moments I’m drawn to.
When it came to portraits, we kept things simple and relaxed. A short walk, a bit of space away from everyone, and just letting them be themselves. No pressure, no over-posing… just real connection.
That same approach carries into the film as well. I follow the natural flow of the day, weaving together the key moments with a mix of audio and music to create something that brings their magical day back in their minds.
A brilliant day, great people, and a venue that always delivers.
